Israelis are viewed as occupators. US is not there for that purpose at all. A small segment of baathist are causing this problem. Most iraqis want to be free of them. US must find away not to get bogged down. An iraqi government with popular input and an iraqi military not tied to baathists needs to be created sooner rather than later. They will take care of those who are shooting at us with dispatch.
