What I resent, though, is, for example, that the NY Times wants five cookies on my system. What are they using all that information for? They could perfectly easily schlep me the news with no cookies or one at most. All the other ones are simply to serve some purpose of theirs that they are refusing to reveal to me. I resent their spying on me that way, personally. They don't need to gather information like that about people who read their physical newspaper; why about those who read their electronic one?
