At best it is a matter of opinion. The fact is, the Saudis do not represent much of a threat to anyone else in the region, and parts of the regime are friendly to us, while some are not. On the other hand, Iraq was a bully to its neighbors, tied up a lot of resources because he was a threat, was definitely interested in gaining the capability of assuming regional hegemony, was considered by the Israelis to be their most ominous external opponent, and was lately the most vigorous supporter of terror in the region......
