Yeah, that is very odd, considering those Kurds died in 87/88 when Saddam used his "WMDs?" on his own people and then three years later we beat the hell out of him but still left him in power after we called him "Hitler" and then in 91 let him wipe out more of his people, this time the Shias, and create more mass graves which in 2003 we now say justified an invasion. Now that certainly is "odd".
