I'm sorry my post last night was so long ... however, I really wanted to address your post. I forgot to add one thing though ... and it's been bothering me all day.

Now you *are* fully aware in saying this, that ActiveX controls will only run in Internet Exploder ... and *only* on a Windows box!

I guess this is fine if a company is fully willing to commit only to the folks in Redmond. No NCs, no UNIX, no Macs, etc.

Well ... nothing but your browser and a Windows machine! All of this is ok in a world of only Windows. No alternatives ...

ActiveX is a Windows dependant component ...
