By the way whatever happened to the original mission anyway. What would you have us do that we haven't yet done? We've overthrown the protectors of Al-Qaeda. We continue to seek cooperation from Musharraf to root out any stragglers from NW Pakistan, an area that the Pakistani government has never truly controlled. And neither the US, nor India, has any desire to see Pakistan involved in civil war. We continue to have international cooperation to seek out, disrupt, and/or capture/kill Al-Qaeda operatives. We have made a major strategic change of policy in seeking to democratize Iraq (or at least stabilize it under a "friendly" regime).. We are see the Saudis FINALLY initiate some actions against their Wahabbist elements. We have seen Bush go farther than ANY PREVIOUS US PRESIDENT in seeking to create a lasting peace between the Palestinians and Israel. What else would you have us do? Erect minefields on our borders? Strip Search and Polygraph every foreigner who seeks to enter the US? Come one.. give us some ideas so we can see how YOU would handle the situation. Why have we abandoned going after those who flew the planes into the Pentagon and the WTC? Because they're in pieces to small to identify maybe?? Hawk
