I don't think China is concerned about North Korean nukes. As for China and the US, China wants peace and prosperity above all else. Political stability in China depends on being able to manage a tricky transition to capitalism without sparking riots due to unemployment. As long as the goods can be delivered, China is happy. A collapse of North Korea is a burden they do not want to suffer. As for North Korea, they seem to view nukes as the only realistic deterrent to a US invasion -- and an invasion is what they believe George Bush signaled with his axis of evil speech -- a stupid speech if there ever was one.
