My mother-in-law had her knee replaced in '84. She was very over weight and in poor health in general. I was amazed at how fast she got up and around. Even lost some weight as she could get around again. She only took pain pills the day of and the day after the operation.

When you get your meal menu, always check the chicken and jello, those are hardest to screw up.

Here's a tip for the Shark. You may have a feeling of cold on and off in your foot for a few days. Mist a towel and nuke it and keep checking it as I burned one up. When it gets warm have him wrap it around your foot. It will be dry by then and the couple of minutes it takes to cool down will be enough to warm your foot.
