that colorful little swagger

ROFL! Well, let's just say it's a good thing my dress is long, cause that "colorful" swagger is 1/2 way to my knee now.
I hope it stops before next Friday as my dress for that "other wedding" IS short (and it's not purple!)

don't forget a tissue or two

A share...since it's just us 2 girls and all. LOL!

My mother embroiders hankerchiefs and for my birthday she made me the softest, finest hankie with little flowers on it. A note was attached telling me the material was cut from the back of an old white dress shirt of my grandfather's. I put it in a ziploc bag and knew it was going to the wedding with me...to have him with me.

Today, when talking about something borrowed, old, blue, new, yada yada yada...out of my mouth pops "would you like to have my special "Poppa" hankie as your something old"?
She teared up and said "yes"...it's like 4 generations in one little piece of cloth. Needless to say, I'll survive with another one (that mom gave me with the date, etc on it) as I know my "special" one will get a bird's eye view from her hand for the ceremony. :)

Ok, so there ya go...my warm fuzzy for today. This is going to be wonderful...and I can't wait.

Thanks for all the love and prayers...
