I understand fear but is it fear or cowardice or just plain indifference that we are witnessing? Most of the people aren't soldiers or experienced fights. Even though there are a lot of guns in Iraq not everyone is armed. People naturally tend to run for cover when shooting breaks out rather then trying to intervene, thats not particular to Iraq. Also most of the attacks are quick, someone shoots an American and gets the hell out of there or is quickly shot himself and its all over. Tim
