True. And the main difference between them, is that I can bring a mountain of factual evidence to back up mine, and Occam's Razor. Your beliefs require defining a lot of words to mean their opposite, and believing in immaterial ghosts.
And espousing mutually contradictory lines of argument:
On the one hand, the Bush apologists post that WMD existed, in 1988 and 1991 and 2002, and still exist, and we're going to find them, as promised.
On the other hand, the same people argue that the Bush Administration never said Saddam had WMD in 2002. The claim is, that they only made vague assertions about "programs" and "documents", no imminent threat, only far-future potential for WMD. And they only said that, because the CIA or Brits or French or Mongolians (who conveniently aren't talking) gave them bad Intel. |
