I dunno why humans wish to generalize and simplify everything. Women are s'posed to talk, walk, act like men, blacks are s'posed to ape the white, Asians strive to be like Americans....its all so irrelevant and unnecessary IMVHO. Diversity is, race is, gender is...and thankfully will always remain. It adds to the mystery, the intrigue, the magic of existance. What isn't, is the relativity. Neither is superior or inferior. Each 'type' has a function to perform for which they've been genetically equipped. Why attach superlatives to a simple existance?
Are ducks in US the same as those in Asia? Are green parrots 'better' than the white ones? In fact are cows better than the cats or is it more desirable to be a grasshopper than it is to be a cricket?
Are we moving towards a colorless, genderless, raceless society? If so, why? Why not celebrate the differences, cherish the inclusion rather than revel in exclusion.

PS: That last line was paraphrased from the movie Chocolat. Mmmmmmmmmm.................<g>
