Capstone Recognizes Mariah Energy's Excellence in Sales

CALGARY, July 14 - Capstone Turbine Corporation, the world's leading producer of very-low-emission microturbine systems used for onsite energy production, recently recognized Mariah Energy's excellence in sales of Capstone MicroTurbines for the period of January through May of 2003. Mariah Energy manufactures the Heat PlusPower(TM) system, which combines Capstone's electricity producing microturbine with Mariah's Heat Recovery Unit (HRU). The Heat PlusPower(TM) system provides heat and electricity on-site for facilities that require water heating throughout the year. Mariah's HRU captures the otherwise wasted heat from the power production and converts it into useable thermal energy.
Mariah has experienced success with this small-scale co-generation system with installations throughout Canada and into the United States. Swimming pools, recreation centres, hotels, apartment complexes, and agri-businesses are just a few of the different facilities that can save money, and reduce green-house gas emissions with the use of the Heat PlusPower(TM) system.
