Oddly enough I didn't see thousands and thousands of people protesting Desert Storm- a few- but no where near the numbers I saw with this war. Granted, I'm not on the extreme left- but many of the people I know on the left believe in protecting sovereign nations from invasion. Your memory might be faulty. Can you give me some numbers to show that all those lefties were less supportive of Desert Storm? And I'm not sure you can count the people people on the left who WERE supportive, before they found out there was no evidence....

I mean those people actually bought that there was a threat that someone somewhere knew something about. And of course with all that "emotion" over 9/11- no one wanted to look soft, even if the connections weren't logical.
