In two instances, the soldiers got no help until their fellow soldiers arrived. Why?

If its only two instances that could easily be that the soldiers who where shot where among a very anti-American crowd or even among those that to at least an extent supported Saddam.

But mainly my answer is just that I don't know the details of those specific incidences so I can't give you anything other then insufficiently supported speculation.

And my answer is that you don't need to know too many more details..........the proof is in the pudding. The article you posted from the NY Post is a partisan one which is intended to make the current administration look good. The ones I post are intended to make the current administration look bad.

The truth is somewhere in between and unfortunately, that is not good news for our guys. They are sitting ducks for any opposition forces who want to wreak havoc.
