San Mateo and the SV area in CA was definitely way, way more bubblicious than SoCal is even right now...

At the height of the i-net boom, I had a friend who sold a 1200 sq ft house on a small lot for close to $1 mil...

So a 35% decrease from those levels is understandable and brings things down closer to what the are in So Cal right now...generally speaking.
