I thought I should give an update fwiw. I have moved my trading portfolio to all cash as of Friday afternoon. I think we are going to see a period of consolidation, similar to the statements from Briefing.com. Most of the companies I follow closely look pricey from a short term perspective and I don't like the technical setups on most of the stocks I trade. We never did get the drop in the SOX that I expected and I would have liked to see, as a back fill move before a continuation of the upward trend (which I still expect at some point in the future). There are a few other minor factors that also have weighed on this decision, like the fact that its summer and I will be spending more time having fun instead of being glued to a computer screen. I will be keeping one eye on the market but for now, I'm happy to be in cash and on the sidelines, enjoying my profits. My best guess is that my move strongly implies the market will go to the moon next week!! Best of luck to all, mh
