75 million boomers looking forward to retirement benefits and Medicare benefits are becoming very nervous about the budget deficit and national debt. Actually, that's probably a good thing in the long run. Future generations should learn the savings and investment skills necessary during their earning years to be self-sufficient and not count on Social Security or Medicare. Fewer people at the trough make a stronger country.
