Come on now Hugh, get a grip. Uncle Al isn't really fixated on exporting the equity to China. But of course China has exported a lot of stuff to the USA, so those exporters have a lot of US$ and some of them will have loaned it to Americans to buy houses.

There's nothing wrong with that. By such a method, the Americans get both the house AND a whole lot of stuff Made in China. If they didn't buy the stuff from China, they'd have to pay a fortune to some lazy slob to idly make it in Idaho or somewhere and then they couldn't afford a dirty great SUV and house [other than a small one without mod cons].

You should kneel in gratitude to Uncle Al KBE for leading the revolution. He is a great hero of the revolution whose name shall live forever.

In praise,
Mqurice
