re: Arnold Well, he certainly doesn't have the right experience for the job of California governor, that is true. However, I suspect he has outstanding skills as a negotiator based on his dealings in hollywood. Also being married to Maria Schriver means he has more knowledge of what he is getting himself into. I'm looking for somebody who is right leaning wrt these budget issues, and left leaning wrt social issues. Basically, I think I am the typical california voter. Arnold has said a few things which sit very well with most Californians.... his objections to that impeachment trial for one thing. I don't know where he stands on the war but most of hollywood was against it. BTW the more I hear about Howard Dean, the more I like the guy. He is pro-technology, using the internet for his campaign, I like that. (I always felt one of the reasons for the stock market bubble was actually the optimism wrt the future that Clinton inspired and I'd like a little of that again). Also articles I've read say Dean is conservative fiscally, this is hard to believe but if true, he is a contender.
