Hi Cow,

You said He would probably benefit more with some XP tweaks such as turning off unused services and some of XP's eye candy.

I've just started looking at the "services" and event viewer and it's just gibberish to me but I'd like to learn how to make sense of all the stuff that Win XP and how to run the machines more effectively.

Is there some place where someone who doesn't know much but is willing to learn can go to get educated?
