Now I don't know about AS's politics and whether he could become a Dean man. I just hope he stops bashing Dean... My only campaign mantra is ABB...

My mantra was ABC in 1996.

AS has spent most of the last two days talking about how unelectable Dean is. He has drunk the Kool Aid and has become a John Kerry True Believer.

AS talks about John McCain all of the time but has yet to acknowledge that Howard Dean is the John McCain of 2004.

John Kerry = A lean Al Gore with better hair.

BTW, Eric Hoffer's book, which was first published in 1951, is number 657 on Amazon's best seller list. Amazing. It has probably been 35 years since I read his books.

Take a look at the bottom of the lead review. You will find some hope for AS. <gg>

In Hoffer's discussion of the interchangeability of movements, he goes on to posit that the adherent is ripe for any movement, and can be receptive to another movement.
