Frankly, I think Kerry KNOWS he's going to be president. Of course not literally, but he doesn't see anyone who can beat him. He also knows however it's going to be a very tough race against an opponent with 200 million bucks and a ruthless political machine. In one of my moments with Kerry, I looked him in the eyes and told him "Never ever get discouraged, no matter what happens, because you can win this". He confidently said "I know". And I said. "Oh come on, you're human, aren't you? You must have some doubts." He laughed. It was one of those little moments that made me really believe this guy is going all the way. He's really-really sure of himself without being egotistical.
