SH was always a danger to his own people, he was never a terrorist. And Iraq had been reduced to a backwater republic by the sanctions. We are far more threatened by domestic terrorists than we are by anyone from Iraq (in fact we always have been more threatend from within than from without).

This statement reflects a misunderstanding of the importance of Saddam's ouster in beginning to reduce the threat of terrorism against the United States. By removing Saddam and making the way for a democratic government, Bush has effectively restructured the entire Middle East. Iran will soon move to democracy. The Saudis are slowly beginning to accept the notion of democratic reform. And despite momentary lapses, the Palestinian crisis shows the first real signs of progress since the 60s.

While the Madelyn Albrights of the world would love to have us believe that Al Qaeda is a bigger threat than ever, there is no real evidence to suggest this is the case. "Enrollment is up". Well, we'll see.

Oil? What nonsense. While oil may have motivated us to get involved in '91, oil had nothing to do with Bush 43's war. It has been about evil. The same evil that took down the Towers. Anti-Americanism is on the decline. It may take a few years, but the progress in the last 12 weeks has been nothing short of amazing.

As we watch the Democrat party self-destruct, I am a bit wistful when I realize they won't be around when this is all over for the conservatives to say, "We Told You So"...
