Yes I like being a Canadian and have no motivation to move south (have one sister in CA) but then again it's sure not heaven up here either. I hope those folks moving aren't just suffering from the grass is greener syndrome because they will likely find themselves making different tradeoffs..

That guy from Georgia.. yeah he'll find it cold. I used to travel to NC and GA a lot for work when I was in my thirties. I was down there during a few of those freaky 6 to 10 inch wet heavy snows they sometimes get I'd get some real laughs... Then again the mayor here in Toronto wanted to call in the army a few years back when we had a big snow... I'm not a Toronto native so I find them a little funny here too ;o)

Minnesota to Vancouver ? Wow from the frozen north US style to positively balmy climate (relatively speaking).
