There you go again, LB.
Over simplifying things so you don't have to juggle conflicting ideas in your brain. Thinking is a process. Take in information, process, arrive at opinion, update old opinions.. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Everything I do and think does not stem from the single idea: GWB must be removed.
It may make you comfortable to diminish the information I provide in posts to relieve your anxiety as new troubling facts are thrust upon your grey matter. Don't worry. Be happy. Criticize my motives. Discredit the information. Relax.
I had an open mind when he became pResident. He had/has the capacity to do great things which might have made me a GWB voter. He has not.
GWB still has the Presidential Power to positively define himself in my eyes and the eyes of the world. These next months will take the measure of the man. But, like you, he needs to lather, rinse, repeat. I don't know if he has the intellectual honesty, maturity or strength of character to do it.
I was surprised by his demeanor, red face and responses in the press conference with Tony Blair. He reverted to the same sound bites he has been using in his canned speeches since 9/11. "Hunt them down", "Bad people", "Iraq is free", "darn good intelligence". He looked very bad when he refused to take responsibility for his Misstate of the Union Adrress that he reviewed "line by line and word by word" according to the Whitehouse.Gov web site. If he keeps bunkering down with this rhetoric he does himself and our country a disservice. Maybe over the summer in Crawford the boys will come up with new brochure copy. THey better figure out how they can make requesting a new UN resolution for international support in Iraq look like a good Neocon idea. Our soldiers lives depend on it.
Time will tell.
