It's been a Long time since I posted to you,
and now I find you left scottrade ...
And I'm looking around and was considering giving them
a try !!!
I've been with TD Waterhouse for years..before they even
had a web broker..then I put up with all the growing pains
of on line trading, ( which has improved a lot over the years)
However recently they have started charging more and more
for short term mutual fund trading..it's now a full .5% on selling
NTF held less than 60 days..shit that adds up.
Also when I'm out on the boat, and have to use the cell phone
broker assisted stock trades have gone up to $45...( that's shit )
Also they don't seem to be updating my buying power in a
consistent way..
I'm sure getting feed up with TD..but haven't found any thing
else I really like..
Scottrade has a nice looking front end..and a lot of nice
promises..but now I find you have left them...!
I don't like the info on Ameratrade or E-trade..
but I still want to leave TDW..
Any Ideas..?
---
PS when out on the boat I may not trade for a while,
but when I'm in & off the boat , I trade a lot,
and all kinds of ways..shorts, options , daytrade
flips..and no load mutual funds for position trading..
( but I very seldom hold them 60 days )
