They (the Administration) better figure out how they can make requesting a new UN resolution for international support in Iraq look like a good Neocon idea.

I am troubled by the Administration's delay in going back to the UN for a new resolution that would allow our major allies to assist in post-war Iraq:

1) Congress passed a resolution urging the Administration to do so.
2) Every day we delay costs us more young military lives.
3) If we are truly concerned with bringing democracy to Iraq, we should welcome the assistance. To not bring in allies under a UN blessing makes it appear as if we are trying to control the process.

Just because the Neocons will have to reverse ideology concerning US unilateralism should not have a bearing in seeking this resolution. The hubris of the PNAC folks got us into this mess, but is no excuse to not fix it now.
