There are threats being made by NK too, don't forget, this is a two-way street ... on which street live a number of residents - the south koreans right there under all those artillery tubes, the japanese a few minutes away by missile, the chinese immediately to the west

One catch-22 here is, the neocons will not say anything that removes from them the ability to take down the NK regime, they see it as evil and would take it down in a minute, given the opportunity ....... hell, i see it as evil and would take it down in a minute, same as the PNAC regime du jour ...... but i am not sitting in Washington ruling the planet, perhaps if i was i should consider making plain open statements that i will not attack NK absent provocation of a nature that makes attack necessary

So then, defining that degree of provocation becomes the thing .... is it alright that NK has nukes? ... i don't think so, not if they're going to put them up for sale, which they do seem to have been doing with other items .... which items include heroin, for the generation of hard currency - it does appear to me, at this point, that there is more to this charge than just neocon propaganda .... so the NKs are not just minding their own business in their own little fiefdom, they are out in the wide world effecting the Rest of Us

... therefore, the Rest of Us, particularly adjacent neighbours, should be included in discussion of these matters .... this is a good principle to stick to, imho, we can't let the neocons use it selectively at their convenience, but neither should we be encouraging them to make secret deals in back rooms
