Oh, for crying out loud. There's always been plenty of hatred exhibited around here, but as near as I can tell most of it has usually been in the form of a never-ending stream of self-righteous indignation directed at Arabs, or Palestinians, or Muslims, or "Liberals", or anybody else who wasn't 4-square behind W and Rummy and the current "war is peace" dogma of the PNAC people. Or do you think "useful idiot" is a term of endearment or something? I used to even have a pat gloss of Strangelove to go with it, "We must not have a hatred gap!".

On the political front, anybody who was awake during the Clinton years witnessed more than enough political hatred to last a lifetime. The idea that the minor amount of heat W is taking because postwar Iraq didn't quite turn out the way the PNAC fantasists predicted constitutes "hatred" is just plain ridiculous.
