Hi Iso. The float has been fluctuating so much, I think it's pretty hard to draw any conclusions, and even harder to extrapolate any predictive quality based on the data (and that's what this is all about really, for me).

One can see a declining pattern since July 1st, but there have been periods of decline prior to this.

I began keeping Daily Float data on May 5th.

For the balance of May,
the Average Daily Float was about $ 27,012,894,000.

For June,
the Average Daily Float was about $ 25,463,333,000.

For July, so far,
the Average Daily Float was about $ 26,038,461,000.

I have done some charts that show a possible correlation between the Float and the price of Gold (an inverse relationship, like you'd guess). I don't have one of those available now, but if I do another one, I'll post it on my site and let you know.
