Jim, The "Clinton bubble" - LOL. I suppose that implies the "Bush bust"?

You must admit, it gets sort of old hearing the former Clintonites like Rubin and Reich <sp?> try to lay claim to the economy of the 90s as though Clinton DID something, then blame the ensuing bust on Bush.

The reality is that presidents don't control economies -- good or bad. It is not enough to simply say, "Well, presidents have always gotten credit for good economies and gotten the blame for bad ones, even though everyone who ever studied economics knows it is utter nonsense".

So, if you can claim the 90s economy as Clinton's, when the bust happens it is appropriate to call it a "Clinton Bubble".

Bush tax cuts are weighted to "the rich".

Prove it. I didn't think so.
