Does no one remember that Jobs was an amazing visionary/evangelist and a lousy manager when he was in charge of everything a lonnnnggg time ago. He proved it again with NeXT, except that he has learned better how to enrich himself in the interim. If he is officially given all the reins again, look out Nelly. There will be another ego-boosting rocket launch-Rhapsody & brothers-that will turn into another stone necklace of inadequate development, just as the original Mac did. Keep Jobs out front giving speeches and evangelizing about the high-tech future of Apple and computing, but keep him OUT of the decision-making process, except as the "advisor" that Amelio thought he was getting. It might take handcuffs and leg-irons, but it will be necessary. Those that ignore the past are doomed to repeat it.
