This conference call on Aug. 12th is certainly interesting. The last conference call on July 1 was for the 4Q97 fiscal quarter and fiscal year 1997 ending 3/30/97 (whose results were published on the news wires the day before, June 30). The 1Q98 fiscal quarter ended on 6/30/97. The conference call the next day was too soon to discuss it; not all the numbers would be in. August 12 would be about right to announce the figures for 1Q98 for most companies (5 weeks after the quarter). So, maybe not much is to be made of it. But, the timing would be fantastic for announcement of the 2nd production line and a contract. It would prop up the stock price which would make a new stock offering possible. Not to mention the aid it would give to the law suit defense.
