mdcomanyouabsolutedipshitwiththebrainofathreeyearoldboyandhewasgladtogetridofit,

You don't have a clue. Why don't you call MDCO and ask if they have any registry data on the use of Angiomax and the Cypher stent? Ask if the use of Angiomax has any possible connection with SAT. For anyone out there that doesn't know SAT is subacute thrombosis. That is an acute closure of the stent due to thrombus.

The first item to prove that this mdcopussyboy doesnt know shit about SAT. SAT is not an issue with the Cypher stent. This is banter by a multitude of people and players that have a VESTED interest in Cypher stent failing. So lets just discuss the first item that the Cypher stent is anyway causing SAT's.

First a disclaimer. I have other than MDCO stock a vested interest in the Cypher stent from JNJ failing. We have a company that has older stent technology that was a third player in market share before Cypher currently blowing the competition away. The Cypher is a bad stent and bad delivery system thats only advantage is having a drug on it. The market is running after JNJ reps for more stents. How many times in anyones sales career does a customer run after the rep? Answer: almost never!!!!!! Well it's happening now because JNJ was first.

So what we have here is a drug eluting stent that almost 70 percent of the cardiologist have never used. Just look at the market share data prior to the Cypher being released. JNJ sucked wind as the 3rd or 4th player. The BX velocity was a thick, difficult to deploy hardly used stent. Now a drug is on it and everyone wants it.

The next important item is patients. Patient are coming to the doctor asking for the drug eluting stent. JNJ only has certain sizes available currently. So doctors that are not used to using the BX Velocity stent are cramming it into vessels. I am not saying this was inappropriate but with any "new" item there is a learning curve. This is the reason for probably 95% of the SAT's. Inappropriate sizing and underdeployment or overdeployment have caused probably 100% of the SAT's. So it's not the drug or drugs used in the procedure dopemdcobitchyboythatwearsdiapersthatby9:00amarefull.

The SAT's were due to underployed stents. Some of the SAT's were due to one of the following:

Sizing mismatch
Underdloyment
"Learning curve"

SAT's are not a result of the drug or the anticoagulant used. That like saying the reason why President Kennedy died was because he was in a Chevy limo. There just is no connection.

So sorry for the long winded discussion but I am trying to dicuss facts. My conjecture is that the release of the Cypher stent is presenting MDCO with a HUGE OPPORTUNITY that they are only starting to enjoy. This banter and bullshit about SAT is complete and utter lies by a few people that have a vested interest in either JNJ failing or MDCO failing. Sorry dipshit boys both are currently succeeding. JNJ later on will be killed by BSX and MDCO will continue to win as market share for DES are shifted. MDCO is the winner.

Good luck to the longs next week. The shorts I feel sorry for you. But if you played the short with an option you only loss all of your premium.
