So did the US but the UN is controlled in many ways by third world dictators and the coalition of the always hesitant. So as a nation you act in your interest. There is no desire here to control the world, only to route out mideastern terrorism at its roots in the military sense. The euros want to route out terrorism at its political roots often by trying to understand those causes rather than destroying the cancer that those causes have alreadey created. This is the big philosophical difference as i see it. mike
