Fed's in one of them thar Catch-22 thingies: AG needs the business world and J6P to think that the turnaround is imminent so they should open their wallets (or borrow) and spend like crazy - BUT - he needs Wall Street bond investors to believe that the economy is too weak to possibly produce inflation, in order to keep rates low to produce the inflation that he seeks.
