Democratic Presidential candidate Howard Dean raised more money in New Hampshire than any other Presidential candidate, including President George W. Bush -- the Manchester Union Leader reported this weekend.

The Dean campaign cited second-quarter fundraising figures submitted by candidates to the Federal Election Commission. ... The former Vermont governor raised $66,985 in itemized second-quarter donations, more than double the next closest Democratic candidate, John Kerry, who raised $27,550. ... 'These donations show that this campaign is the greatest grass roots campaign of the modern era,' said New Hampshire State Director Karen Hicks."
