biotechs are wonderful--but how about the companies that sell them the picks and shovels? as the biotechs begin to heat up and develop more drugs for trials won't there be increased need for technology? heard about a company called" techne corp." (TECH). i will begin to research this as a possible substitute for adding too much to the biotechs--until they have some more sales and earnings--sounds like this stock has been quite a rocket--supplies the biotech industry--on cnn one analyst gushed over its possibilities. do you know anything about it? and, getting back to ligand--do they have good management--companies with great products and bad management are too risky and scare me--apple computer/informix/etc.
