I mostly lurk and learn, but perhaps a bit of history is in order. Look at the title of this thread...SD II, Frank Pembleton taking the effort a couple of years ago to finally set up a moderated thread much to the relief of many of us here. So many times some dildo (Slider calls 'em chihuawas (and please don't hold me accountable for the spelling of that disgusting little Mexican dog) would come onto this thread with a pompous bunch of gibbershit and pull Slider's chaim. Hell, I think his responses were often conservative and restrained. However, big brother thread master banished/suspended him enough times that Frank helped us all out. Iso is absolutely right. To press home the point of the danger of stupidity and ego in the marketI think just now of my aged mother-in-law, despite all the efforts of the bloods to the contrary, insisted staying in "until her money came back when the stocks went back up"...haha (not grinning)...her pride and obstinance lost her another 70k since last July. Makes a guy want to puke. One must know when to fold 'em, like the old song goes. Those who don't fold and save their asses but see posts of others who have made wise/lucky choices cause some of the losers to throw tantrums, funny actually. To demonstrate that I am not very bright sometimes either one can if interested go to the BBR thread where I just sent Mq a note about my loss and subsequent lawsuit against a shark. I lucked out and got some of my money back. In general Mr Market is not forgiving, just downright mean like the Old Testament Yaweh sometimes...scary...especially THIS market.
Cheers
