Iraq did not present a clear and present danger to the US. However, Bush made every attempt to make it look like it did. Under those circumstances, any death, to me, is a travesty.

I think you exaggerate the extent that the first two quoted sentences are true. However if it was 100% true I think that would mean Bush's statement is a travesty. If Bush lies then its reasonable to get annoyed or even pissed off at Bush, but that doesn't change the fact that over 20 million people no longer are under the thumb of a brutal dictator. As I said before the question of whether the war is justified is a different question then the question of whether Bush was honest. You may answer both of them with "no", but even if you can establish "no" about Bush (and I don't think you have), that doesn't logically lead to the conclusion that the war was an evil or unacceptable act of aggression.
