One could argue too that a person's sex life is a private thing.

What about that Pro-Life link of the Dems web site? If they are going to take in all views they have to open up to pro-life people too. That's a powerful issue and it's swinging to the conservative side more and more. The rabid pro-abortion crowd is smaller and smaller. The dems might have to wake up to that or be accused of being out of touch. The very Liberal Dem stands have been rejected on a national level for decades but the Dems seem to cling to liberalism. Liberals have to try and look moderate to even have a chance at the Presidency. Maybe some old time Liberals still have too much sway in the party, like Kennedy and others.
