There were other things that might have been done to generate pressure, especially if we hadn't assumed such an obsessively (and unnecessarily) limited time frame. Hardly matters now.

As for troops moving, how long do you think the US needs. They first began planning in January 2002. They could have had the war very conveniently by September 2002.

Possibly. There were restrictions, both political and logistic.
