Thanks for that article. I'm afraid we have done lasting damage, in both Europe and E.Asia. Even if Bush is defeated in 2004, and even if the new President repudiates unilateralism and preventive wars, that won't be good enough. We won't be able to go back to where we were before 2002, we'll never regain the trust of the world's democracies.
