Interesting issues raised today. Are the mines being pumped?

At this stage of the boom and bust cycle in precious metals, I'd say very few are, but you never know. I wasn't part of the 70's boom, but I've seen some pretty outrageous behaviour in Tech stocks. Even CDU may have been an honest mistake.

I have also owned one mine which was a total scam, Medinah. Before it went bankrupt 6 months ago, it did all kinds of things; name changes, "gold certificates", obvious hypsters on the thread doing the good cop/bad cop thing, you name it. In the end, company insiders were literally lead away in handcuffs.

Note that the SI thread is STILL active with A@P back and taking on comers. Bizarre.

I got out of MDIN/MDHM in time, and actually made money on it before it collapsed. I don't see anything of that low level on most of the issues we discuss here, thank God.

At least not yet.
