45 minutes

45 minutes, that is what Mr. Blair said, buying uranium, that is what Mr. Bush said.

If you watch the current stream of information coming from both sides of the ocean it appears that Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair are facing a complete collapse of the combined US/UK intelligence networks, all senior officials were duped or at fault and they personally did nothing wrong. Apparently these dire accusations that galvanized the voting public in both countries just managed to appear in their speeches through a massive failure of aides, committees, senior officials, intelligence agencies and common sense. Now the senior officials, on both sides of the sea-saw, Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair, insist that they are not responsible in any way for these flawed claims appearing in their exhortations to war.

Caution - wind. The only people who have any chance of fixing things in Iraq are the citizens of England and the United States. Countries like Canada are already paying full price for their defiance of GI-Joe policies.
