PS: It is so hot and dry here that even the birds cannot find water to drink. On Sunday, I was
watering several pots. A bird flew in my face before it landed close by in a rose bush. When
I pushed the hose into a tub of roses the bird tried to land in the tub. I sprayed the deck with water.
Then, the little wren hopped around the deck and pecked at small bits on the deck
that were covered with the water before it flew off.
Next, I put a pan with water on the deck for the birds. Nothing like this has happened to me b4.

The heat and the drought are terrible. I worry about the fire danger, too. Are you okay? Brush fires
break out around the city. I have to water plants and the lawn every day.
