While everyone is making much of the lies (untrue statements but not really lies for my right wing readers) not enough attention has been given to lies about the economy. remember that the first round of tax cuts were to be enough and affordable. Remember for two years the economy should have been showing renewed growth. Remember its not class warfare even though benefits and employment have been savaged and social security is being threatened. His forecasts for the economy sound like grubmans recommendations for worldcom. More recently we are told that deficits don't matter. The surplus was our money so isn't the accumulating debt also ours?
