DU BLUES: Mephisto, I haven't seen any corroboration for that Islam Online article, so I'm maintaining an open mind about the veracity of the report. **** The Department of Death has stated that they expended 350 tons of DU armaments during the 1991 Gulf War. And it is now reported that they expended five times as much DU in the latest war. Unquestionably, this ought to be a cause for alarm among thinking Americans. Independent international organizations should be engaged in honest studies of what the results of this much uranium into the air, water and soil of Iraq will be in the future. One thing is certain, any studies by the U.S. government, and particularly any Department of Death studies are not to be trusted.
