Suit revisited

If they were damn sure of winning, why would they throw in a frivolous patent name violation like JET. Any judge could not take the entire suit seriously if Iomega threw something like this in. This only serves to undermine Iomega's case.

Anyway, if there is clear patent violation then I think Iomega should be rewarded damages. If the suit proves false, Iomega should have to pay all legal costs plus damages to Syquest for tarnished reputation. I think this is a risky move on Iomega's part. They are not the underdog filing the suit like Digital/Intel or Apple/Microsoft.

Time will tell here. Another interesting subplot
